Current pilot · single-store retailers on Lightspeed Retail X-Series Core
Your POS knows what’s not selling.
ShelfReport shows you what it’s costing you.
Upload the CSV export you already have and get a report on the cash hiding in your inventory — confirmed dead-stock cash, reorder risk, and time-bound stockout exposure — in about 60 seconds. No integration. No account. Nothing installed. We never touch your POS.
Original files are processed in memory and never stored · read-only · free scan needs no signup
How it works
Export your CSVs
Export products, inventory, and at least 90 days of line-item sales from Lightspeed Retail X-Series. ShelfReport checks the headers and SKU overlap in your browser before anything is uploaded, then tells you exactly what needs fixing.
Upload them here
Drop the files into the free scan. They’re parsed in memory on our server for the duration of your session and never written to disk. Customer, staff, and payment columns are excluded from normalization and storage after the file is parsed.
Read your report in 60 seconds
The free scan shows your headline numbers instantly. The full report breaks them down SKU by SKU, with the math and the source rows behind every figure.
What you get
💸 Dead stock, in dollars
Every SKU that hasn’t sold in 90+ days while cash sits on the shelf — priced at on-hand × cost, so the number is defensible, not a guess.
⏳ Reorder risk, before it bites
SKUs that will stock out before your next order, based on real in-stock sales velocity (promos excluded, stockout days adjusted), with suggested quantities rounded to your case packs.
📉 Separate decision signals
Confirmed cash tied in dead stock, weekly sales exposed to stockouts, and 30-day in-store sales where the online listing needs review — each kept separate and labelled by what it measures.
🧹 Data issues blocking good decisions
Duplicate SKUs, missing costs, negative stock — the broken records that silently corrupt every report your POS gives you.
Why the pilot starts narrow
1. Lightspeed Core plan gap
On X-Series Core, the dedicated dusty inventory, inventory sell-through, and recently out-of-stock reports stay behind Plus. Core does have an inventory performance view with a sell-through rate; ShelfReport’s gap is the SKU-level cash decision sheet — from the products, inventory, and sales CSVs you already export.
Durable wedge for brick-and-mortar single stores — not a temporary headline.
2. A report, not an inventory system
ShelfReport does not sync your POS, forecast demand, create purchase orders, or change inventory. It turns one approved export set into an evidence-backed action list that an owner reviews before touching the source system.

Who it’s for
Best fit: one Lightspeed X-Series Core store
Stable SKUs, usable unit costs, on-hand inventory, and at least 90 days of line-item sales. Best used before an order, during a cash squeeze, or for an inventory clean-up when the owner can act on the SKU list.
Not the current pilot
Multi-store consolidation, automated replenishment, demand forecasting, API sync, or ongoing monitoring. Other export shapes can be checked by the compatibility receipt, but they are not the initial paid-launch promise.

FAQ
What happens to my data?
Uploaded files are parsed in memory and never retained as original files. The PII-scrubbed computed result is kept behind an unguessable link for up to six hours when unpaid, or 30 days after a verified purchase, so the report can be reopened. Customer, staff, and payment columns are excluded from normalization and storage after the file is parsed in memory.
Do I need an account?
No. The free scan needs no signup and no account. The paid report is a one-time checkout — you only give us an email address for the receipt.
Which POS systems work?
The current paid pilot is for single-store Lightspeed Retail X-Series Core exports. Before upload, the Export Fit Receipt checks recognized headers, SKU overlap, cost coverage, and sales history in your browser. Other export shapes may pass the compatibility check, but they are not the initial paid-launch promise.
Can this mess with my POS?
No. ShelfReport is read-only by design. It only reads the CSV you upload — it has no connection to your POS, no API keys, and no way to write to any system you use.
Are you affiliated with Lightspeed?
No. ShelfReport is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Lightspeed Commerce Inc., Shopify Inc., or Block, Inc. Lightspeed, Shopify, and Square are trademarks of their respective owners.
How accurate are the numbers?
Every figure is computed from your own data, and the full report shows the math and the source row behind each number. Estimates (like stockout exposure) are labelled as directional. Reports are informational only — verify before acting on them.
